The Governing Board, Administration, and our hardworking Team Members of STAT Emergency Center & STAT Specialty Hospital are humbled and extremely grateful to have been selected “Best Standalone Emergency Room” for the third consecutive year by the loyal readers of the Laredo Morning Times. This is truly an honor for us knowing that we are providing the best possible care and service to all our patients.

Providing Absolute Care and Service Excellence is our main focus in our everyday operation. Integrity, Honesty, Courtesy and Hard Work are primary reasons why our patients choose us for all their emergency, hospital, and outpatient care needs. We take pride in all the accomplishments we have achieved thus far and look forward to maintaining our focus in ensuring excellent patient care!

We strive to do better in everything we do. Five and a half years ago we made history in Laredo by introducing the first freestanding emergency room; and just a little over 6 months ago, we expanded our FSEC and opened the doors to our Specialty Hospital at our north location. With these important changes made to the north location, it enhances our emergency room services and allows for added care & service options to all our patients.

We all know that this year has been challenging for everyone. With COVID-19, healthcare facilities/providers have been faced with difficult tasks and obstacles to overcome. Without compromising the safety of our patients and team members, we have risen to meet that challenge head-on. We enhanced our already stringent infection control measures and focused on greater safety protocols to maintain the integrity of our top-rated emergency rooms and hospital. At STAT, we know that medical emergencies, hospital care, and outpatient service needs don’t stop because of this pandemic; so, we continue to provide the care and service you need to “Get In. Get Well. Get Back to Life”!
Thank you, Laredo, for helping us achieve this honor…

At STAT, it’s not just better healthcare, but a better healthcare experience. #StaySafe
