“The wait is over”, and the Governing Board of STAT Emergency Center is pleased to announce the official opening of the first freestanding emergency room in Eagle Pass, TX located at the corner of Veterans Blvd. & 2nd Street. We will officially open the doors today, December 17th at 9:00 am.
Stat Emergency Center is a facility licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services to provide 24-hour emergency services to patients at the same level as a hospital-based emergency room. Freestanding emergency center’s wait time is consistently faster than traditional hospital based ERs. Unlike urgent-care clinics, freestanding emergency centers must be open 24/7 and have an Emergency Medicine Physician onsite at all times.
Stat Emergency Centers’ different approach in developing and modernizing ER facilities, implementing fast registration processes, prompt triage, patient diagnosis & treatment by an emergency room physician, strict infection control measures and personalized concierge-style services, sets us apart from traditional hospital based emergency rooms. We use the latest equipment and technology of a modern hospital emergency room, including CT scans, bedside emergency ultra sound, digital radiology, clinical laboratory testing and pharmacy services.
