STAT Emergency Center of Laredo is constantly looking to engage with the community of Laredo and surrounding areas by creating Facebook contests that are fun and enjoyable to all its followers and beyond. During our Valentine’s Day
“I Paw You Very Much!”
pet photo contest, we had an overwhelming response by people who already liked our page but also new people that support the Laredo Animal Protective Society. It was a way to engage with our followers all while supporting a good cause.
We are creating a Cinco de Mayo celebration called “Cinco de Meow-Bow Wow!” that will encompass having a pet photo costume contest and live event on May 5, 2016 from 5pm-7pm. The way it will work is, the top 5 photos with the most “likes” will be chosen to compete in a pageant the day of the celebration. There will be a grand prize for the pet owner as well as a gift basket for the winning pet!
Once again STAT ER will donate $1 for every festive pet photo shared on our Facebook page (Please limit to one picture per pet) with proceeds benefiting the Laredo Animal Protective Society. Grace Padron, Director of Operations said, “This contest along with the celebration is going to be fantastic!” It is definitely something different we are doing to interact with the community and our Facebook followers.
