The Governing Board has announced the selection of Mr. Adrian Larson as our new District CEO for the Del Rio & Eagle Pass locations. Mr. Larson’s qualifications comprise of 8+ years of senior leadership experience with hospitals and healthcare systems in both for-profit and nonprofit settings. A reliable decision-maker, well-versed in business management and operations His primary focus for a successful tenure with our organization is leading by example and working as part of a team to achieve goals.
Originally from Del Rio, TX, Mr. Larson attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and graduated from the Bill Greehey School of Business with an MBA.
Mr. Larson has held a few notable leadership positions and joins us with valuable experience. The most recent position held was Chief Operating Officer with Mountain View Regional Medical Center; Las Cruces, NM since October 2017. Mountain View is a 168-bed Level Ill acute care hospital with 1400 employees, multispecialty clinic with over 100 employed providers, joint venture surgery center and 3 urgent care facilities, Free-Standing ER, and Graduate Medical Education program.

Senior Director – October 2010 – May 2015 with Val Verde Regional Medical Center, Del Rio,
TX.
Mr. Larson is bilingual, fluent in written and spoken Spanish. He is affiliated with many professional organizations and looks forward to re-establishing his involvement on a local level.
